TechnoServe is now recruiting a Regional Monitoring & Evaluation Advisor. The successful candidate will guide overall M&E strategy and implementation activities for TechnoServe's coffee programs in East Africa.

Applying candidates should possess:

• Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred) in business, statistics or relevant major

• 5+ years of experience with M&E methods and approaches

• Experience in designing, planning and implementation of M&E systems including knowledge of results-based management and logframes

• Substantive knowledge of gender equality and women's empowerment issues

• Solid understanding of rural development

• Private sector experience in agriculture, agro-processing or manufacturing (preferred)

• Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Disposition to travel extensively within East Africa countries

TechnoServe is now recruiting a Regional Environment & Certification Advisor. The successful candidate will support TechnoServe's coffee clients in East Africa to develop environmental standards and implement appropriate certification programs.

Applying candidates should possess:

• Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred) in business, agriculture or relevant major

• At least 5 years certification experience in coffee or other crops

• Project management skills and proven project leadership

• Solid understanding of rural development

• Private sector experience in agriculture, agro-processing or manufacturing (preferred)

• Fluency in English with good communication and presentation skills

• Disposition to travel extensively to East African countries

• At least 5 years of demonstrated expert leadership developing and managing innovative and leading edge programs to address environmental challenges in agribusinesses preferably within the coffee industry. Also knowledge of environmental sustainability supply-chain issues, and experience with public and private sector partnerships
