Oh, Yes, definitely share training games. Here is a training game I use with my aussie and border collie, but not the 10 1/2 year old Samoyed with the arthritic hip. I call it the "Get it!" game. Many people in obedience use some form of this. It leads to the flip finish, quick take offs on heeling, refreshing the dog's focus, strengthening the back, hocks, stomach and butt and just generally keeping interest. Start with the dog at a sit, hold the treat up and forward from where they have to pick up their front end to reach it. Work into a jump from the butt to the air to get the treat. The idea is to get it without stepping into the leap. Do this in heel, the off side, behind, fronts, on take off, at distance, just for fun add a mid air spin, whatever. My aussie girl can jump shoulder high now (little brag!) and we're working on the mid-air spin.
